Welcome to Vientiane
Upon arrival in Vientiane, you'll be warmly greeted by your Laotian tour guide and driver. Start your adventure by exploring the city’s must-see landmarks. Begin at Wat Si Saket, the oldest surviving temple in Vientiane, where over 2,000 silver and ceramic Buddha images adorn the cloister walls. Next, you'll visit Wat Phra Kaew, originally built to house the Emerald Buddha and now a museum showcasing Lao and Khmer artifacts. Continue your Vientiane trip to Wat Si Muang, the city's most popular temple, before marveling at the Patuxai Monument, Laos' version of the Arc de Triomphe.
The tour also includes the golden-spired Pha That Luang, Laos' holiest site, and the intriguing Buddha Park, a fascinating sculpture garden. Start your day with a leisurely morning before embarking on Laos's newest express train to Vang Vieng. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you to the north of Vang Vieng to explore Tham Xang Cave (Elephant Cave), named for its unique limestone formation. Then, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views from this scenic spot.
Next, let's delve into Tham Hoi Cave (Snail Cave), where you'll float on inflatable tubes through its winding corridors, admiring the impressive limestone formations. You also can cool off with a swim at the entrance of Tham Nam Cave (Water Cave).
After a picnic lunch, you'll trek through rice paddies and vegetable gardens to visit a local Hmong village. Conclude your day with a serene kayak ride down the Nam Song River, soaking in the idyllic rural scenery and dramatic limestone mountains.

Vang Vieng - Train to Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave
We will take an express train to Luang Prabang this morning. Upon arrival, you'll board a private boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River to the famous Pak Ou Caves. These caves, known locally as Tam Ting, are filled with thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues. Along the way, you'll witness the daily life of fishermen and local villagers, for whom the Mekong River is a lifeline.

Luang Prabang – City Tour – Kuang Si Waterfall.
For early risers, you can join a special dawn ceremony to watch the monks of Luang Prabang collecting alms, a serene experience that reflects the deep spiritualism of Laos.
After breakfast, it's time to explore the city’s historical treasures, starting with the magnificent Wat Wisunarat, one of the oldest temples in Luang Prabang. Continue your trip to Wat That Luang, the traditional cremation site for Lao royalty, and Wat Xieng Thong, a 16th-century temple that epitomizes the elegance of Lao architecture.
In the afternoon, you can venture to the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfall. Then, you'll trek through the lush jungle to visit the Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre, where you can assist in the bears' midday feeding. Next, you can relax by the stunning azure pools of the waterfall, with an option to hike to the top for spectacular views.

Afterward, we'll return to Luang Prabang for some last-minute shopping before catching the train back to Vientiane. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
