Begin at Wat Si Saket, the oldest surviving temple in Vientiane, where over 2,000 silver and ceramic Buddha images adorn the cloister walls. Next, you'll visit Wat Phra Kaew, originally built to house the Emerald Buddha and now a museum showcasing Lao and Khmer artifacts. Continue your Vientiane trip to Wat Si Muang, the city's most popular temple, before marveling at the Patuxai Monument, Laos' version of the Arc de Triomphe.

Next, let's delve into Tham Hoi Cave (Snail Cave), where you'll float on inflatable tubes through its winding corridors, admiring the impressive limestone formations. You also can cool off with a swim at the entrance of Tham Nam Cave (Water Cave).
