Welcome to Luang Prabang
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel (early check-in subject to availability). Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its blend of natural beauty and historic charm. No activities are planned for today, so you can leisurely explore and get a first glimpse of this ancient city.

Pak Ou Caves
Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, built in 1904 for King Sisavang Vong and his family.
Next, you will enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Mekong River, offering stunning views of the countryside, before reaching the Pak Ou Caves. These caves house thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims.
We'll stop at Ban Xanghai village, known for its local rice wine production.
Back in Luang Prabang, you will explore Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, famous for its intricate mosaics and sweeping roof.
If time allows, we'll visit Ban Xangkhong, a Thai Lue village known for arts and crafts, and Ban Xienglek, where traditional Saa paper is made. You might also join a local petanque game.
In the late afternoon, you can enjoy the sunset at Wat Prabath and browse the Night Market for handmade textiles from local and hill tribe artisans.

Kuang Si Waterfall
Begin your day with the sacred tradition of morning almsgiving, where monks collect food from locals.
You can visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace, and then climb Phousi Hill for panoramic views of Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.
If time permits, we'll stop by the UXO Visitor Center for insights into Laos' secret war history.
Next, we'll head to the Buffalo Dairy Farm on the way to Kuang Si Waterfalls, offering fun activities for kids.
When we arrive at Kuang Si Waterfalls, we can see the largest in the area, with beautiful azure pools perfect for swimming. We'll explore the nearby village of Ban Thapene or visit the Bear Rescue Center.
On the return to Luang Prabang, you can visit the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, known for its traditional weaving and batik.

Elephant Experience
8:00 am – 8:30 am: You can be picked up from your hotel by our English-speaking guide.
Then, you'll arrive at the Elephant Village Camp for a welcome briefing about elephants. Tourists can feed the elephants and explore the camp's facilities, including the hospital and gallery.
Then, we can enjoy a unique Mahout experience, where each person cares for their own elephant.
We then take a boat trip to Tad Sae Waterfall and relax or swim in the clear water (swimsuit recommended, note: water levels vary).
For lunch, you can enjoy a buffet at the camp with vegetarian options available.
1:00 pm: We'll return to your hotel in Luang Prabang. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration.

Namkhan Ecolodge Farm
After breakfast, we will take a boat downstream on the Mekong River to Ban Chan Village for a pottery-making experience. You can learn traditional techniques and create your own souvenirs. Your finished pottery will be delivered to your hotel within 3-7 days (depending on weather conditions).
Next, you can enjoy a traditional Lao meal made from local ingredients.
Then, we proceed to Namkhan Ecolodge for a farm tour, exploring organic farming practices. You can choose options including a pony ride for children and a special massage treatment for adults (extra charge).
Return to your hotel in Luang Prabang.

Nahm Dong Park
8:30 am: Depart from your hotel for Nahm Dong Park, located 10 km from the city center.
Begin your trip with a cooking class, learning to prepare traditional Lao dishes using fresh ingredients from the park's gardens. A recipe booklet is provided, and you'll enjoy the dishes you’ve prepared for lunch.
In the afternoon, we'll explore the park with a zipline adventure over the jungle and waterfalls. The zipline lasts about 1 hour, followed by a walk through the jungle with opportunities for refreshing dips in natural pools.
You can relax or explore the park before heading to Hillside Ecolodge for the night.
