Baci Ceremony
On arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its cultural, historic, and architectural significance, perfectly blending natural beauty with historic charm.
After settling in, you will take a leisurely stroll to get your first glimpse of this ancient city. In the late afternoon, visitors can partake in a private Baci Ceremony hosted by a local family. This traditional Lao ritual offers a deep insight into Lao spirituality and culture, making it a memorable start to your exploration of Laos.
Dinner with the host family will follow, giving you an authentic taste of local life.

Royal Palace Museum
After breakfast, we will start a walking tour of Luang Prabang, exploring its lesser-known areas and traditional lanes. You can discover the four architectural styles categorized by UNESCO: traditional Lao houses, French colonial buildings, half-wood half-cement structures, and old Chinese shophouses.
In the afternoon, you'll visit Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, known for its classic Laotian architecture. Then, we'll continue to the Royal Palace Museum, showcasing intriguing artifacts.
We end day 2 with a sunset and dinner cruise on the Bounmi Cruise, offering a romantic evening on the Mekong River.

Pak Ou Caves
After breakfast, you can enjoy a leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, a 16th-century cave monastery filled with thousands of Buddha images.
First, we stop at Ban Muang Keo, famous for its traditional Lao rice whisky. Then, make our proceeded to Ban Chan Village to explore pottery-making techniques. You can create your souvenir from clay, with delivery of your finished piece to your hotel within 3-7 days* (*weather permitting).
For lunch, you can enjoy a traditional Lao meal on a scenic patio before returning to Luang Prabang.

Kuang Si Waterfall
If rise early, you will witness the morning almsgiving ceremony, a revered Lao tradition. You can observe Buddhist monks collecting their daily meals from locals.
Then, you can set your foot to visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace, then ascend Phousi Hill for panoramic views of the city and Mekong River.
If time allows, you can explore the UXO Visitor Center for insights into Laos' secret war history.
Then, we will transfer to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfall, featuring three tiers and azure pools perfect for swimming. Next, we'll explore the nearby village of Ban Thapene or visit the Bear Rescue Center.
In the afternoon, you can unwind at the Butterflies Park with afternoon tea in a tranquil butterfly-filled garden.
Make your way return to Luang Prabang with a visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center.

Mandala Elephant Camp
In the morning, you will depart Luang Prabang around 08:30 for Xieng Lom village. First, you can enjoy a coffee or tea and learn about elephant behavior and interactions.
Especially, you can cross the Nam Khan River by boat to meet and feed elephants. We will observe them bathing and playing in the river.
Then, you can experience walking with elephants through traditional Lao gardens and alongside the Huay Nok stream. Afterward, we'll enjoy a fresh Lao meal at the camp.
Following lunch, you can relax and explore the charming Chateau Orientale, a riverside retreat in the Laotian jungle.
